Ben Borujen’s water supply project, opening of PS3 pumping station package

The water supply project of Ben Borujen serves as a critical water infrastructure for the country, specifically providing water to the city of Shahrekord. This project has a long-term objective of supplying water to extensive areas within the province.

Upon the successful completion of the construction work on the pumping station complex on 2022/10/26, officials from Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province visited the site to conduct an inspection and evaluate the project's progress. The presence of Dr. Jafari, the representative of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province in the Islamic Council, alongside the esteemed Governor, Engineer Heydari, underscores the project's significance in the eyes of decision-makers.

Dr. Ali Karimi, the Chief Executive Officer of the Regional Water Organization, accompanied by the honorable deputy of the organization, Dr. Salami, attended the pumping station site as the project owner. Their purpose was to elucidate the project's goals and accomplishments to the officials. Notable details highlighted by the project owner included the reliance on domestic companies and the involvement of a knowledge-based company. By employing the pumping station package method, the project was successfully completed within a six-month timeframe, surpassing initial expectations and yielding a 24% reduction in operational costs.

The project encompasses three pumping stations, with pumping station No. 3 (PS3) currently at 90% completion. As PS3 nears finalization, it will facilitate water supply to specific predetermined targets. Furthermore, as progress continues on the other stations, additional areas will gradually benefit from the project's coverage.
