According to the statements of Khuzestan Abfa’s CEO, the Mahshahr port’s water treatment plant is one of the largest projects in the province. It has the capacity to pump 46,000 cubic meters of water into the water network every 24 hours. According to the forecasts in the design of this treatment plant, it has the ability to achieve a capacity of 144,000 cubic meters during the day. This water treatment plant includes a water pumping station, a filtration system, and a chlorination system, all of which will improve the water quality in a part of Mahshahr port.
